This Cornerstone Promise is the most important element of your overall personal Life And Standards® Promise.

For the avoidance of doubt:

“Harm of any child or young person” means ill-treatment or impairment of health or development, including harm suffered from seeing or hearing the ill-treatment of another person.

Development includes:

• Physical development

• Intellectual development

• Emotional development

• Social development

• Behavioural development

• ​

Health includes:

• Physical health

• Mental health

 

“Children” refers to younger individuals lacking the maturity and understanding to make important decisions independently.

“Young people” refers to older or more experienced minors who may possess greater maturity but remain legally and socially protected.
