​1) I declare as the Cornerstone Promise and primary element of my personal Life And Standards® Promise to myself, from this day forward, I will reject, and WILL NEVER knowingly or deliberately, participate in, endorse, or encourage any form of harm of any child or young person- online, via electronic communication, across any social media platform, or in the physical real world?​

2) I acknowledge that the Cornerstone Promise is the most important element of my personal Life And Standards® Promise to myself.

3) I acknowledge and understand:

“Harm of any child or young person” means ill-treatment or impairment of health or development, including harm suffered from seeing or hearing the ill-treatment of another person.

​

Development includes:

• Physical development

• Intellectual development

• Emotional development

• Social development

• Behavioural development​

​

Health includes:

• Physical health

• Mental health

 

“Children” refers to younger individuals lacking the maturity and understanding to make important decisions independently.

“Young people” refers to older or more experienced minors who may possess greater maturity but remain legally and socially protected.
