Welcome to the Life&Standards®YouthClub (LSYC)

LSYC promotes respectful communication and behaviour online.

Life as a young person should be fun and exciting as we grow and learn, and begin to understand what the world is about.

We feel like we just want to have fun, chat to friends and hang out with them.

We may get messages, or see posts about us that makes us feel bad about ourselves. . .

Sometimes stuff is going on online and it can really get to us, maybe we're being bullied, or pressured to do things we really don't want to do. . .

We could be sitting in a room full of people, but in that moment we feel totally alone. . .

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you are experiencing any form of online bullying or abuse, or being pressured into anything you are uncomfortable with or unsure about, speak to someone in the real world about it. That person could be a parent or a teacher you trust, or an older sibling, or a best friend, don't be afraid to talk to someone.

As members of LSYC we get to make our personal Life&Standards®Promise about how we behave online and across social media, and in the physical real world.

We can build our own 'promise network', of people we know from our socials and real life, and they can become members of LSYC

As members of LSYC we support each other, we are there for each other, and we have each other's back in the difficult times as well as the funtimes.
